But the most recent cloud save is not showing on my desktop upstairs
Alternately there's the option of just moving the save file manually with a USB stick or some cloud storage, but since you use this often, it seems worth it to try and get Steam to behave again. :)
Wrote this post in order for anyone else browsing unto this thread from your search engine like I did know what to do, because the solution was pretty simple at least to me. No one had clarified what worked so now you can see a working solution in practice so now the thread can be closed
not sure how it related to anything other than saved games but in the event of not being able to access newer saves what ive found is to just delete the older saves and steam cloud will populate the newer files once the game loads ...
a bit frustrating and def somewhat of an antiquated system but this has absolutely worked for me as of now .. will post if this fails for some reason
