Straight roads curving
I haven't been playing that long, so I could be wrong but I have a feeling that before Sunset Harbor when I was connecting roads or railways in less than 90° (or something) it gets curved instead of staying straight or not letting me build it. This annoys me to no end. How can I fix it?

They taken that mostly away.

No more 10 degree metro corner (kind of). You need a more gentle curve now.

I always thought it was silly have a train or metro running a 100 and hit turn that should have derailed the train.

I never put them in that way. But I've seen some that make my eyes hurt.

That "road bending". It's one of the things you can disable with Fine Road Tools:
