Earth either side of quay?

Hey giuys so I wanted to make like a circular island with quays round the edge to make it look a little more neat, however obviously the earth still rises at one side, but when I make it curved it rises on both sides? so I cant have a clean edge to my island which is kinda frustrating, screenshot below to show what I mean as it's quite hard to explain exactly what I mean:

Is there any mod or anything that would help me remove the earth on the outter edge of the Quay? Since the terraforming wont remove it.

I made this channel across land with nothing but base game and the Extra Landscaping Tools mod:

As you can see I also built the quay round the coast (or call it an island for your purposes). You can quite easily remove the land that bulges into the water with the above mod.

Actually, I just realised I didn't have mods on this play-through as I was going for achievements. So all was done with just the base-game terraform tools.

Thanks. I'm aware there is such a mod. However, I'm very old school so I prefer to get my achievements the old fashioned way. :)
