The only thing I do on Windows 10 is play games.
Back to my question, Any ideas on how to fix this?
@bernhardflokstra - how many mods do you have? How many assets? I found that C:S ran pretty slow with 16 GB ram, so I upped it to 32 GB. Because I am an asset ♥♥♥♥♥, I have upped again to 64 GB.
If you don't have it already, get the Loading Screen Mod - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=667342976
It helps reduce ram load.
Also, before you play C:S next time, open System Monitor and see what your resource usage is like. Then, after going into a city, hold down the Alt key and right click the mouse. It will allow you to minimize the game. Then you can check what your ram usage is like.
