Is the Cities Skylines Collection bundle worth it?
Currently on sale for $97. Thinking of getting it. But is it worth it? Or should I just buy the base game and all the good major dlc's to save some money? Much appreciated. Thank you.

The better question here is, does your system have enough RAM to handle the game with every DLC unlockef and activated? If you have 16Gb and up, then your original question retains its strength.

I’d say no.... unless you are crazy about collecting everything. Couple of the dlc’s are radio stations. You’re paying for music that can only be played in the game (I presume).... and when you start with the game you won’t need everything. Get the basegame, play that for a while and see what you fancy next. My 5 cents

Yeah I know for sure my PC will be good enough for it. So that shouldn't be of a worry hopefully. I do have 16

Yeah I thought so. Which dlc's do you recommend if I do end up deciding to buy more?

Whichever ones you want after researching what is included in each expansion and deciding based on personal preference what you want to add to the game

No. It should be a single game. Not separated into 10 pieces and sold piecemeal. Greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs.
the one who is greedy is you, you want everything for low prices, not going to happen.
+1 The amount of hours of gameplay you get out of each bit of content is in so much excess of the amount of time put into making most content. Just freaking pay the $10 or w/e it is if you want it.

As for OP's question, I personally don't think all of the packs are worth buying. If you REALLY love the game and it's 99% of the time all you play, then sure I would go for it. I'm mostly only interested in stuff that heavily affects actual gameplay. Theres several that definitely affect gameplay, and a couple that don't.

DLCs that I have so far are Parklife, Green Cities, Mass Transit, Snowfall (think I bought this for the trolly?), After Dark, and the free match day. I plan on getting Campus and Industries, think they are all on sale right now. I have heard that concerts isn't worth it. I've seen some use the university city and modern city center packs, they look pretty amazing for the theme! If you want to make more themed districts those are probably worth it. But again, those are just themes and don't do anything to actual gameplay.

If I had to cut down the list to just 3... I would personally say Parklife, Mass transit, and probably Campus. Industries adds a bit more depth to that section, and After Dark allows for more in depth leisure/tourist areas. Green cities is just really fun to play around with as a city theme and extra buildings.

To be honest, I’d recommend none of them... I mean, the dlcs are nice-to-haves but not necessary. I’d recommend some mods that are must-haves: traffic manager: president edition and MoveIt.... getting those mods (free from the workshop) is much more worth it than buying any dlc...

That's great to hear. I had that in mind earlier also. I want the DLC but at the same time I feel like mods will be better and offer more variety. I'll just get the base game for now and use mods. If I feel like I need or want the DLC then I'll get those separately. Thank you

Research what's included in each DLC. As an example, trams were introduced into the game in the Snowfall DLC. It depends on what you want to do with your city building experience. I bought everything all at once and love it. However, it is the game I play 99% of the time.

I would say no DLC is worth, especially at full price, but if you like to just build a city with many areas just to experiment - as the game is pretty poor as a management game - and relax, the whole bundle makes the experience better. It depends on how much you want to spend money for (superficial but yet RP enriching) side stuff and whether you prefer official stuff than mods (personnal you I do not use mods)
