Not enough buyers? [Industries]
I'm trying to make a small city with a mostly oil-based workforce, I have commercial buildings to keep demand down but my oil industry is a lot larger. Either way it still seems like I'm not able to sell ANY resources for some reason, I even have a cargo airport next to my oil district but literally nobody is using it to export goods. Is there somewhere I need to go to enable exports or am I doing something wrong entirely? Appreciate any help!

You need to increase your storage.

I have 19 crude oil storage centres, almost all of them full

The storage for your processed goods, not the raw.

So, a warehouse? I have a large warehouse and I still haven't seen a SINGLE freight truck drive to the cargo airport to export anything

Ideally the warehouses that hold your processed goods should be solely delivering to your Unique Factories. The UFs should then be taking their goods to a nearby warehouse that holds what they make. Those warehouses should be delivering to both your commercial areas and exporting facilities.

Update: After starting a new game on a new map, I seem to have no problem with exporting goods now, I haven't tried using a cargo plane hub yet but they have been delivering via highway, cargo boat and train so far

Do you find you make all that much money off UFs? I have a couple of them and even setup a small metal and glass industry to supply a couple of them, but in all honesty I seem to have been making way more with a well-balanced petroleum network (That wasn't even very large)
