RTX raytracing upgrade please.
Shouldn't take too much work... Im assuming Unity engine is going to incorporate RTX?

Can't wait to see those realtime dynamic reflections in the glass of my skyscrapers and water..

Thanks.

Here's my benchmark 655k city that has max 80k agents (64 citizens, 16k traffic). It requires no workshop, nor any DLC. It will max out my 6-core i5-8400 100%. I had one guy test on Ryzen 1700x on release day, when hyperthreading wasn't working. It had 8-threads only, and it was maxed 100% on all cores.

But, I don't see ray-tracing viable right now. It doubles the workload, and cuts current FPS in half or more. I seen one guy on a 1080p, 144Hz monitor and could get 50fps when he was getting over a 100fps. And the game didn't even have fully implemented RT.

Considering this game, and most other simulators, are still using DX9 from XP days to save on processing cycles, so they can have better simulation AI.
Lol this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy...

Not anymore its not.
Well see you in a year then
One year later, CoD MW, Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Minecraft, Dying light 2, Watch Dogs Legion.
when people think 100% cpu usage is a good thing... :steamfacepalm:

also ray tracing is useless and at most a resource hog for literally no reason but to make things more "shiny"... you dont need it.

Ray Tracing is a gimmick just like PhysX or Hairworks, it'll die off in a year and no one will remember it
This aged well
Oh look, a necropost!
