Seeking mod: Utilities (water, electricity) delivered through road

I'm building a rural zone and the buildings will be spaced farther apart than the electricity radius from existing buildings, and placing power lines would be cumbersome and expensive. Is there a mod that delivers utilities through roads like simcity2013? I also wonder if there's a subterranean power line custom asset. What do?

I don't know the name of it, but there is one that does allow for underground connections. Have a search for power connection mods/assets.

It's a bit of a cheat, but there's a mod that eliminates the need for water pipes and power connections.

Despite the modder's blurb, it is not the first of it's kind. But, the original mod was one for underground and one for underwater. This one will do both ;)

Well, in my country they actually do lay those under or just to the side of the road, we do have some of the major power lines, but in and around a city, not so much, everything underground with the roads.
