I guess the mod should have the option to rotate props in line? There's a button for changing the distance between the prop and I think there the object can be rotated too.
If "Fence mode" ( Leftmost button ) doesn't work open the control panel ( Rightmost button )
Make sure angle mode is dynamic ( If they're still perpendicular, Add a 90 degree offset. )

after zeraphel intruction to offset it, curve doesn't turn smoothly
increase the distance until they barely stop overlapping.
Keep in mind you will need smaller props to create sharper corves.
edit: I Encourage you to be conservative when you use props as decoration.
