Art Deco Starlight hotel and Central hotel grow in generic commercial district

Has this happened to anyone else? These 2 hotels used to grow in just the regular, non-specialized commercial areas but still be listed as hotels (they would not have level, 1, 2, 3 upgrade options. They still had the single bar that all specialized buildings have)

However, I had to uninstall the game, and after reinstalling they still grow in non-specialized districts, but they are no longer designated as hotels, just generic buildings...

Does anyone know how to make it so they grow in non-specialized districts but still as hotels??? I really liked that these were the only 2 buildings that did that. It was some kind of glitch or file misplacement I'm sure, and I would looove to get that back...

Sounds like you used to have some custom settings for them for Ploppable RICO that turned them into hotels.

I've tried to recreate it with RICO, but it only half-works. I can get them as hotels that don't disappear in non-specialized zones, the only difference is now they no longer grow like that as they did before. I have to plop them down

It's a little annoying to have to do that - I'd much rather them grow like they used to - but at least they don't disappear.
