How to connect pedestrian paths to roads?
I click on the "Landscaping and Disasters" button (the shovel) and then try to connect Pavement Paths or other paths to roads for pedestrians so they can walk over the highways but I can't connect these paths to roads? What am I doing wrong? I tried various paths but none can connect..

The path nodes aren't meant to connect to road nodes, just place them near to the road pavement and they will connect when you see the grey paths connect to each other, if for some reason you do want them to connect you'll need the Fine Road Anarchy mod with anarchy turned on.

Also be careful when trying to tunnel/bridge as the gravel path cannot do these. You can only use the pavement path to make a tunnel/bridge.

I think crossings (crossroads?) are used for the situation you're describing...

Otherwise, you have to tunnel or bridge your pathway to the other side.
