How do you get rid of ground pollution?
I hate that nasty grey colour! :highrise:

Are there any building, like the floating things you put in dirty waterl, that I don't remember the name of ATM.

I tried planting more trees in a forestry zone next to an industry zone and noticed some of the grey started to get a green color. I didn't try this by deleting anything and placing loads of trees in the most polluted area though, and still thinking it might just be that it's become polluted forest zone, or is it? You can change agricultural fields permanently into forestry areas, and it kind of make sense to bring mother nature into an area that have totally ravaged her. :summer2019trees2: :summer2019trees:

In vanilla, there isn't much you can do about mimising the visual effects of pollution on the environment other than being mindful of trees, which will defoliate in the presence of water or ground pollution. So if you want to use ground cover, try bushes instead.
Otherwise, work towards building the Eden Project monument, whose perk greatly reduces the effects of pollution throughout your city ;)

No, but there's a policy that greatly reduces ground pollution at generic industry. It's called Filter Industrial Waste (Green Cities).

Thanks. That's a damn shame if you ask me. :\

Once Office Buildings are available, you can replace your commercial buildings with Offices. If you use the Industries DLC, however, several of those buildings pollute. I use No Radioactive Desert & More to hide the pollution and make the trees green. I use Avanya's Clarifier so I don't produce sewage.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Well, then there's some sort of solution. Using policy to reduce industrial waste and work to get the Eden Project (Will do!)
