Train Lines Broken, won’t find path
Trina lines have just totally broken in my city. I had an existing loop with one line set up in each direction. I the added an extra station in the path of the loop (very minor changes to track no new points or sharpe curves. Yet lines can’t find a path to the station, my existing line won’t path through it, new lines won’t path to or through it. I build another station near by it will route to that but still won’t route on from there. Tried rebuilding the entire line to the next station. Still nothing works.

Both passenger stations no points no sharpe turns or changes in night and no sings of broken rails. Anyone got a clue what is wrong??? I am out of ideas

Just a few thoughts for you to ponder on.

It might sound daft, and I'm not saying you're wrong, but have you used the correct track type to connect to the through line?

Also check carefully to make sure that the track is actually connected because I did something like this and when I took a really close look at the track it was laid down but not actually connected, and as soon as I connected it (correctly) it worked.

Another thing to check is to make sure the correct train type is set as well.
Someone else mentioned this in a post on here elsewhere, and when they adjusted the settings it worked)

Hope you get it sorted.

I had that too... My guess is there's a point where your Tracks aren't connected properly on a node (can happen in conjunction with "Anarchy"-Mods). I would suggest checking them... If buffers are present on any of your nodes along (not the end of) your tracks, then the track isn't connected properly (even when it appears so).

Will a new line start at that station? I mean does the "Start new line" show up?
If yes, then it's a bad connection. If no the station is broken. Replace it .

I think it is an issue from the game itself ,when your population rise to a number it begins to broken. You can test by yourself with an new starting game with zero population ,You will see everything is right.

Make sure your station(s) and track is connected correctly, check all switch points etc. That can also be a problem when connecting to the main line through the region. Also ensure that the line is the correct type in use. one way, two way etc.

You might have hit routes limit - check with a mod such as "Watch It" (you'll need to enable limits display in its options) or "Show More Limits" (older mod doesn't list all limits).

Alternatively, you might have broken or ghost nodes - detect and fix those with Broken Nodes Detector mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1777173984

If problems persist, see TMPE troubleshooting guide which collates loads of known causes of transport problems: https://github.com/krzychu124/Cities-Skylines-Traffic-Manager-President-Edition/wiki/Troubleshooting#public-transport-and-cargo-trains
