People are not riding the subway

I have no idea what is going on. I built the stations, put in the tunnels and set up a route.
When I zoom in on the stations they are filthy with people using the entrance/exit.
However, when I check the stats, zero ridership.
Can anyone help?
I have all the required mods and subway cars/trains, but no riders.

There might be a more suitable and better transportation for your citizens. Meaning it isn't paying off for them to switch to the subway.

Also depends how long you let it run before checking stats. It can be a little while before the 'users per week' figure gets updated. Maybe just give the game a little while for the usages stats to propagate through the system.

And if you check it at the beginning of the week, it can still read zero even if it was 900 the day before. I don't know why it does this but I can almost guarantee people are using your subway, it's always the most popular public transportation in my cities.

Thank you all very, very much. It is a fairly long run along a street that is turning red, so it had me baffled.
My money is pretty decent so mass transit is free.

When is the beginning of the week?

Well, I have tried several configurations. I have gotten trackand subway cars. Still no luck.
I have checked and I have the Metro Mod thing, no joy.

Any other suggestions?

Now try running the game strictly in vanilla without any mods and see what difference that makes.
Use the --noWorkshop launch setting to prevent any Workshop content from loading when you start the game.
If the Cims start using the metro, then you can be certain a mod is responsible and if by 'the Metro Mod' thing you're referring to MOM then you should be aware that mod is as unreliable as an orange faced president.

Oh that's an issue with metro overhaul mod. I fixed it with having a depot and by fiddling with the metro budget. Yeah its strange how that worked. When you have MOM you have to replace all your vanilla stations and tracks
