How to connect loose transit lines?
Sometimes a transit connection will get destroyed, sometimes I end up not connecting them by accident, then there are loose connections. I have searched and searched and I have not found a way to go back to a transit connection just to reconnect them finally.

I have even just now destroyed an entire train station and put one back, and the loose connection is still there even if the station is not.

Please advise.

Highways? I was talking about bus lines and train stations.

You gotta click and drag the line, and delete it however its supposed to be. I know what you're talking about but I only really deal with it when I need new station placements.

Right click on a stop to delete it. If its a rogue stop where you have deleted the station or road put one back and with the right connections you ought to be able to right click and delete the stop. However if you do not complete a line I have never found a way to go back and reconnect it, either right click to delete the other stops to see if it repairs itself. If not start again, delete the line in the transport manager. if its not there and all else has failed use Better Bulldozer set to "node" to delete the rogue stop(s).

As stated above - GIVE IT TIME TO FIX ITSELF. If after 5 minutes it doesn't fix itself, right click on the last node (...with the "T" thingy"). You may have to start the route all over if it doesn't fix itself.

Thanks much. I would love to be able to delete and start the route all over again, but there never seems to be a way to delete the stop. Sometimes, I can move it, but only if I'm lucky, it seems. Most of the time, it's just a blinking eyesore in the middle of the game and an annoying popup telling me to fix it the rest of the time I'm playing. So many times, I just give up the game and start over because it's so annoying. Thanks for not making fun of me.

To delete the bus stop, go to the mass-transit menu and select buses. Then just right click on a bus stop to delete it.

To delete a bus line, close all menus then clock the Info View button on the upper left section of the screen and click on mass-transit there and then hover over the bus line and left click it and it should ask you if you want to delete the line.

If all else fails you can use this mod to delete the stops, select node in the options. But be careful!

Generally an existing stop has become disconnected from the line. After a road or line or station has moved or deleted the stop is left behind. Generally they flash an error, but sometimes cannot be selected and therefore moved or deleted. The service cant work if with a disconnected stop.
Improved Public Transport is awesome. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=928128676
Get into the lines overview, and select your problem line. Click on any of your stops (stops with 0 passengers are trouble) it will pan to the stop on the map, if it looks ok click next stop, repeat until you find broken or disconnected stops, then delete stop. check all stops, once the problem stop is deleted the line will link itself back and work again.
Ps this function can identify duplicates or why do i have more stops than stations? They will are hard to see as overlaying each other. but again look for 0 use stops.
