fyi, the things you complain are mostly in workshop and most aren;t issues except for poor mayor skills from not having time to learn the game yet.
also, you don't manage traffic, you eliminate it. But you haven't had time to figure it out yet.
But as rmjohnson144 mentions the workshop has tools for most of what you mention, including improved mass deletion options and auto-delete of abandoned buildings.
I also see that whilst you "only" have 49 hours playing this you have around 230 plus hours playing Civ VI. For me Civ VI was an instant buy and yet I have really found it hard to get into playing that, having played each of the previous versions. It just doesn't "work" for me, maybe it will one day.
I suppose what I am saying is that sometimes a game will click and you will see most of its virtues and forgive what it can lack and other times you are just aware of the warts as it doesn't work for you.
I have bought most of the DLC etc for this game and can’t wait for the Mass Transit addon. For me the ones I bought and various mods make enough of a difference to the base game.
At least you have tried it and good luck on your next one, hopefully that base game should not have cost you much.
Incomplete how exactly? You rant about how there's no information available, yet the game offers a plethora of detailed overlays that tell you exactly how things like traffic are flowing, and where people are trying to get to.
Whaaaaat? A city building game that focuses on traffic? YOU MUST BE JOKING. In all seriousness this has been a focus since the very first Sim City...
What it sounds like is that you bought this game expecting a different genre (I am genuinely curious as to what games you are comparing this to) and confuse a different focus on mechanics with an "incomplete" product.
No traffic tool? Paid workshop, I know :X
No objectives? There is only one objective: enjoy and build your mind, if your mind is empty, then this game wont be for you :-)
Only one thing i am sad is that you are angry because you dont know how it works, that makes me really sad :(
Anyway hope CO dont give your money back :-)
Edit: If what you want is multiplayer in a good city building game i reccomand tropico 5.
Cities is not a GAME, it is considered a SIMULATION. If you want to play a GAME, buy one of the stupid Chinese sword fighting games.
I enjoy going in and trying to improve the cities I've created with my own hands. I'm afraid this type of SIMULATION is not for you.
Yes there is mods that fixes many of those issues (btw if someone created a mod to fix the issue it means I am not dreaming there really is an issue)... but that is what I criticize the dev ... they created a game incomplete like hell and hoped the modders would fix and complete the game for them at no cost.
Edit: these are japanise games
