Ubisoft Connect challenges aren't working

Anyone else encountering problems getting any of the Ubisoft Connect challenges for this game to work? I've already completed the criteria for several of them but I am still seeing 0% and no challenges completed.

Same problem here. I can not understand, why ubisoft is ignoring the whole community. Players talking about bugs, missing steam achievements and also this problem here, why there are no reactions from ubisoft? Its a shame, how often players getting ignored.

Only works in the ubisoft overlay. Open the overlay in-game, check your notifications and click a random one; all challenges done and in progress will update automatically. However, this won't update the challenges list in the game tab, when you close the game...

i hate this, no Steam achievements. I have gotten all the pearls and all the animal photos... but im not sure if im missing anything to unlock all the achievements or whatever. sad really.

Also to note, even if you open up a challenge that you just completed with the popup, it says you havent done any of them. it just fails to save any of it. but if i look at my activity feed for uplay it says i ahve unlocked quite a few.

The achievements in ubi connect are working fine for me, they show up in the client, I'm missing the speedrun and mdisks ones; the challenges show as 0/30; however, I've just completed the last one, and if I go to my profile, it shows as 30/30 core challenges completed - same as in Ubi overlay when running the game. And my ubi level increased as well. So I guess the behavior isn't the same for everyone.

EDIT: It should be obvious, considering the mouse symbol, but I bought the steam version.

It's a display issue. One that I've personally reported (and got a response to) so it's known.
