What are the differences between OG and this?
New lighting?
New Texture?
No Drm?
Hopefully no Ubisoft connect..

The exact same difference with the HD remake of 2003 that was never available for PC.

It also has U-connect requierements, a new DRM I have never hear of (on top of steam DRM and U-connect DRM, oh joy), and no achievements for Steam cause ubisoft doesn´t care fot this platform where they are surpraise their games hardly sell.

So, like all Ubisoft games on Steam, my recomendation is simple. Ignore this game on Steam. If you really want to play it, any other method would be far better.

Ignoring the negatives -Ubisoft launcher and Denuvo - the game itself has improved lighting, textures, and controls. They've also added a couple of small things. Some flowers on a bench as a tribute to recently deceased dev for example.

this version has compatibility over the older one, meaning works better on newer os
plus a major controller support

Yeah, it's says Battle Eye or store page and Denuvo in the EULA apparently. Both seem rather silly. That being said, the original is on GOG if people want to be completely DRM free.
where is the save file location at I want to copy my data from the original game to this one I never finished the original.

ah well id guess its a mostly copy paste eula like most of them are
as i cant imagine someone writing that multiple times
they most likely frogot to edit out the denuvo line i would have to guess, otherwise it would be listed on the store page like the other
gog shall most likely see the remastered version too, for those who want controller support among other things
i held off on playing it for so long because ive had enough of kb+m in the past with most games x.x

create an thread asking that otherwise i doubt you will see help
threads geared to specifics tend to get answers faster
unsure if its even possible to use saves from the old version or not

skip cut scenes - good - xbox forced buttons no ps5 buttons - bad-
hd textures a little better than xbox 360 version , 4k support plus widescreen, might refund if i cant force PlayStation buttons

I guess there's a decent amount of work put into this but putting 3 layers of DRM on a 20 year old game is pretty wild.
