ThroatCrusher Boss is impossible
It's literally impossible to kill the Throatcrusher boss. I get that it's a high level boss but the difficulty seems insanely high for no reason where I'm assuming you're forced to use a specific pair of hero
- I've unlocked basically all the passive buffs from settlements
- I've unlocked all the bonus from the altar in Bonetown
- I have all legendary heroes unlocked
- All the mercenaries have the scrolls for 30% more beast damage and 25% more food effectiveness + I've optimised all mercenaries' experience little bonus to have as much damage, crit and crit damage as possible
- I use the skills Big loud, Protect (on 2nd position who takes less crit), Attack! and Boom

Despite all of that, I can't barely reach 50% of the boss HP before it wipes out my whole team. It's not even close.

I tried using all animals: Cargo Bigfoot, BigFoot, White Nightmare, Bear Cub, Loug Growl
I've also tried: Cargo Bigfoot, Bigfoot, Redserker Father, Barbar & Duncan/NeuroBard Fofan
Gimli seemed good at first but didn't seem like he did much

I really don't know what else could possible work except perhaps a team with full Parry (4x Peacemaker)? Or Gravroche and Inquisitor (so I do more damage with enemy with redirect?)

Any tips except ''Keep trying it's rng''?

Thanks a lot

Gimli has to be on 2nd postion and try to use bleeding protect scrolls. I don't think that "animal party" is a good variant - IMHO, all animals except mb BigFoot is weak on high levels (their attack speed is low). Can you most times overcome emenies of 20 lvl and above on road trip with this party?
If you mean the boss in snow mountain, I could offer you some recommendations.

1. Hero: 2 bigfoots and 3 legendary zerkers.
Bigfoots use redirection scroll and +30%damage to beast scroll
Zerkers use +30%damage to beast scroll and +5 damage scroll (I use the add damage to bleed enemy scroll instead of +30% damage to beast scroll, but clearly the latter scroll have better performance when face the beast)
2. Food: eat Shawarma for all heros
3. Skill: use Protection, Target Dummy, Attack and Big loud (I think Nom is also ok for this boss which substitute Big loud)
4. Tips to defeat boss
4.1 remove goods to decrease the difficulty
4.2 according to discussion about Horse boss between author and me, the Boss shield timer is independent timer, which indicating that player should use X1 speed in shield period and X3 speed in no-sheild period. (But I am not sure why X3 speed in no-sheild period, did the sheild period is triggered by time instead of boss HP?)

Anyway, I use the above settings and pass the snow mountain boss in X1 speed in 1st try.

Setting the fight speed at x1 and not x3 was not absolute game changer. I killed the boss first try. - I guess the dev will fix it in the next patch. Thanks Sinaean, you're a genius <3

And if you pass the Horse boss please share your setting to me as well LOL

I used the below:
1. Mercanaries
Barbar - Eyevan Bobachad - Redserker father, BigFoot, BigFoot Hauler

2. Scrolls
Bigfoots had 30% damage to beast and redirect scroll. The rest had 30% damage to beast and 25% more effect from food (since you can only have one scroll for the damage)

3. Mercanaries Skills
Protect, Attack, Target Dummy (lvl 3), Big Loud

4. Talents
All maxed

5. Food
Shawarma

6. Passive skills (from maxing Town rep)
Hivesville (Venomous bees), WatchmanHam III (extra crit party), Forestershire (beasts do less damage), WachmanSham II (extra health party), WachmanSham I (extra damage party)
I also maxed the extra damage and health for my party at the altar in Bonetown

7. Fight speed (MOST IMPORTANT)
Set to x1, NOT x3, it made a huge difference. I don't think every above was required to kill the boss

I hope this can help future players into completing this boss:)
