First update since the release: two new features and one bug fix.

Features

- Steam achievement: 14 Steam achievements are now available for Monument Village

- New difficulty "peaceful": In this mode, Tessa will not send you any request and you cannot lose. You can build your village and monument at your own pace!

Bug fix

- Fixes a deadlock when the available workforce is negative (which can happen after some innovations)

Cute, Relaxing Game but Annoying Tessa!

I like the game hence I bought it after the demo since I think it has potential. It is very relaxing, easy to play and has cute graphics. However, I would prefer a gameplay mode without Tessa's Tasks because it becomes quite exhausting to keep restarting levels every time I fail her tasks when all I really want to do is play my by own pace and get the end goal of building the tower. After too many restarts, I end up losing interest on the game so If this is possible, that would be wonderful for me. Thank y...

After a year, the game is almost ready! I'm eager to click the button and hope you'll enjoy the game!

In the meantime, the demo is still available (and will always be). Monument village will also be featured in the next edition of steam NeoFest festival!

The development of the game is going well and should be on track for the release (end of 2023 or early 2024).

But I wanted to put the game in your hands as soon as possible. Since this morning, a free demo is available. In this demo, will be able to play one short game from start to finish. Try it now!

You've made a nice looking game. No major complaints on the gameplay since I like these kind of puzzle-ish management games, where you have to maximize the benefits from a building placement, but one suggestion I do have is to add the ability to collapse the menus. The build menu on the right is sometimes too big and obstructs the view. I also like to take screenshots since the game looks nice and detailed even when fully zoomed in so the ability to hide the UI would be great. Since I just now learned th...

The music is too loud and annoying and when I change the settings in the menu it has no effect on the music.

Synergy display and same buildings

Hello dear devs, I completed the first level and enjoy the game very much! It has not the best optics, but it is kinda cute and what counts is the content :) The game could still need some QoL improvements. One of the few annoying things for me is, that, when I select a building it only shows synergies with buildings, when I move next to them. I would really like to have kind of a green shadow on synergy-able buildings, while looking for a good spot on the map. Still looking forward for the next levels ...
