Why only this vs integrum masterpiece
Why this one is top seller and not the integrum masterpiece?

Why you guys only buy this one?

because the integrum masterpiece is not a single game that can be a top seller
Iron Maiden Jun 16, 2024 @ 10:39am
Because quite frankly 2.8 is not worth it at all, and the whole package is grossly overpriced.

Because I own this collection and 3 on Epic already. 3 on Epic actually functions, unlike this collection which I rebought on steam just to finally have KH2 on my PC in a functional state. 2.8 doesn't seem worth it except on a steep discount since it's really only one full game afaik.

The "whole" package is 7 games + 3 movies... and you can get that all for $56.

That's basically $5.60 per entry. Don't understand how people can fathom believing it's overpriced unless they expected it to be outright free. Steam takes a 30% cut of the sales off the top so factor that in and S-E is only getting roughly $40 for a sale of the complete collection pack.

Plus Disney's Cut.

It isn't weighted that way though. 1.5+2.5 is four full games, 2.8 is one plus the KH3 prologue demo thing, KH3 is one.

1.5+2.5 is 35$ if purchased on sale, for four games. Going for the bundle brings it up to 70 on sale, but only adds two full titles. Fragmentary passage is only a few hours long.

It's still a good price, but there's definitely a good reason this collection is the most popular.

Doesn't matter how it's weighted individually. The complete package with 7 games and 3 movies can be bought at $56 currently on sale via GMG, which breaks down to a split of $5.60 per entry, period. Everything else is just arguing semantics at that point.

It matters if you're discussing the topic the thread is actually about, and not arguing with a troll about whether the collections are worth it.

people say that ♥♥♥♥ and then go buy a single AAA game for 80 bucks. Its less than 70 euro for 10 games. How is that overpriced?

Honestly I don't really understand why someone would pay $35 for just 1.5+2.5 when for $20 more they get the entire collection with 2.8 & 3 other than possibly monthly budget limits or simply no desire to play/replay those titles. Cause if they think they might be interested in buying or playing those at a later date it's going to cost them more overall as it's not likely to go lower than the collection cost for many years if ever. But clearly based on the top sellers page that is exactly what is happening.

I gave my own reasoning for why I just bought the one pack earlier, but I don't think my case is particularly common. If I had to make a guess as to why others are favoring this pack it's the nostalgia power. That or it's the KH2-only diehards

I initially bought just this one, then returned it and bought the 3 packs together. I figure I'll play them all and this is probably the best price reduction we'll see in a while.

The collection is a good price overall, but it's still a bit steep given the age of the games.

Individually tho:

1.5 + 2.5 is only kind of justified in price since it's 4 full games + 2 cutscene movies. But this collection has been around for a long while and this is just a port of that collection. 1.5 + 2.5 on the PS4 as a physical copy can be found for around $15-20 USD.

2.8 is not worth the price tag even on a good sale. You're paying for a 3DS game that takes roughly 20-30 hours to finish main game, a movie, and a couple hour long tech demo.

3 + ReMind is still a bit steep given the fact that 3 is half a decade old now but the ReMind dlc is like $30 so I guess the sale price is justified

There is a large gap between this game and the other two in Top Sellers.
