That's basically $5.60 per entry. Don't understand how people can fathom believing it's overpriced unless they expected it to be outright free. Steam takes a 30% cut of the sales off the top so factor that in and S-E is only getting roughly $40 for a sale of the complete collection pack.
It isn't weighted that way though. 1.5+2.5 is four full games, 2.8 is one plus the KH3 prologue demo thing, KH3 is one.
1.5+2.5 is 35$ if purchased on sale, for four games. Going for the bundle brings it up to 70 on sale, but only adds two full titles. Fragmentary passage is only a few hours long.
It's still a good price, but there's definitely a good reason this collection is the most popular.
Oh yes, can't forget Disney.
It matters if you're discussing the topic the thread is actually about, and not arguing with a troll about whether the collections are worth it.
I gave my own reasoning for why I just bought the one pack earlier, but I don't think my case is particularly common. If I had to make a guess as to why others are favoring this pack it's the nostalgia power. That or it's the KH2-only diehards
The collection is a good price overall, but it's still a bit steep given the age of the games.
Individually tho:
1.5 + 2.5 is only kind of justified in price since it's 4 full games + 2 cutscene movies. But this collection has been around for a long while and this is just a port of that collection. 1.5 + 2.5 on the PS4 as a physical copy can be found for around $15-20 USD.
2.8 is not worth the price tag even on a good sale. You're paying for a 3DS game that takes roughly 20-30 hours to finish main game, a movie, and a couple hour long tech demo.
3 + ReMind is still a bit steep given the fact that 3 is half a decade old now but the ReMind dlc is like $30 so I guess the sale price is justified
There is a large gap between this game and the other two in Top Sellers.
