Please Add Dual-Audio For Consistency With KH3

These games have never been brought to the west with their original voice acting in tact. This is a real shame to have yet another modern release of these games with a core feature missing.

It's nice to have. I like playing on alternate languages when I replay them.

Even in western games I sometimes play in japanese for the novelty.

The Epic versions Undub mods were broken from the start. The mod creator only swapped the audio, and not the scene data, leading to scenes and dialogue constantly being cut off.

No, posts asking for voice acting for a language they don't speak or understand are troll posts. If you want everything to be in Japanese, move to Japan. You won't make it there, but go ahead and try.

Also, no, "most people" do not want to consume media in languages they don't speak or understand.

They were also recast in English. Remember, this IS a game about Disney. They're not going to put no effort into making sure it flows in the language of the primary crossover.

...except for KH2 Atlantica.

I do get this sentiment, especially for the first few games. But after Birth By Sleep the voice work just got worse and worse. It would be a nice option for a more consistent experience.

No, a post where people didn't respect anyone that have different opinion as them, IS a troll post. Which is a people like you. If you doesn't want a Japanese audio, no matter why, thats fine. But insulting people that want a Japanese audio, make you a troll. And tbh, a lot of time people were asked about wanting a game/movie in a original audio or in the language they understand. Most of people did picked the original audio instead of the language they understand with. So, most people in Cynirex post are in fact, true.

I mean it'd be nice to have the JP voice track for those who want it but wasn't the game recorded in english first? KH1's final mix on PS2 still uses english VA if memory serves and that was Japan-only until PS3 re-releases. It wasn't until later that JP voices were added.

No additional VA was recorded for Final Mix. The additional scenes are either completely unvoiced, or use recycled clips from elsewhere in the game.

That said, it WAS in English, yes.

You can play the games in Japanese on Steam.
I'll try to quickly put together a mod so that the Japanese files replace the English ones, just renaming files tbh
