Black cutscenes on Linux

Anyone else experiencing this? It's strange because Steam Deck seems fine.

UPDATE:
Using the Steam launch command SteamDeck=1 %command% with the Refresh Rate Option disabled plays cutscenes for me.

Could be related to codec issues since Nier Replicant had a similar issue.

No it is an AMD 7900XT, I am running flatpak on Debian so I'm thinking it is a flatpak issue.

It might be, but I'm going to try the official Steam package appose to the flatpak version I'm using now, I know flatpak can be weird sometimes

They're fixed on Steam Deck apparently. May have to use SteamCMD to download the Deck repo

You don't need to download a Deck repo for this game, there isn't one. Whatever Square did to fix the cutscenes, it's set for the Deck specifically and you can fix it really easily on desktop.

You need to add this to the launch options in Properties and you should be good to go.

SteamDeck=1 %command%

Tried on ge9-6 which cause my xbox controller to stop working but keyboard + mouse is still operation and the cut scene plays but is basically filled with video artefacts compare to before where it was just black

Ok proton experimental fixes controller but cutscense are still broken for me with steamdeck=1

EDIT: Proton 8.0.5 and SteamDeck=1 %command% makes it work fine so far :)

I am able to see the cutscenes now but they are laggy.
