Personally, I think it is. Easy is like... TOO easy... I think that mode is specifically done for kids. Like 6 year olds, because its honestly hard to lose on easy.

I would probably never tell anyone to play RE:CoM on the hardest difficulty if it was their first time. They'll probably end up hating that specific game. The rest of the games I think are fine to play on Proud or Critical first time. Especially KH2, Critical is a must.
