Its a really confusing decision that they locked so many abilities behind this slow-paced, repetitive, boring, rng based minigame in a game you're supposed to play 3 times over.

The combat arena was also originally multiplayer.

But for that, the HD ports rebalanced so that it’s doable alone

Yeah, knew about that one, never thought about the board though.

I remember liking Command Board originally, but it has been many years. I also remember it only having one song, and it was that blasted Bibbity Bobbity Boo or w/e song (Cinderella?). I distinctly remember hating that part of it.

Did they have boards with other songs? Or was it really just that one awful song on a loop forever?

Depended on the board. Like the Disney Town board played the Mickey Mouse Club March and the starter board had the Land of Departure music. Bibbity Bobbity Boo was only on the Cinderella board.

They should upgrade the mode in an update to allow local multiplayer at the least, as well as online multiplayer if possible.
