EGS versions will be vastly inferior if Square doesn't maintain parity

EGS early buyers will be left with a worse product come the Steam releases if nothing is done.

Whatever KH games these apply to on EGS:
* Cloud Saves are STILL not implemented while they will be for Steam

* Online DRM which requires the user to connect to a server in order to continue playing their game. Steam DRM is very lax, I hope you remove the former from your EGS titles..

EGS received updates for 1.5+2.5 and 2.8 [strikethrough]* Steam receiving upgraded textures while the Epic users are left wondering if it'll come for them as well[/strikethrough]

* Video files (FMVs) are entirely broken on Steam Deck because of unique codecs or encryption used while the Steam versions will have them working in no time.

* (Speculation) The game launchers for 1.5/2.5 and etc. will probably be changed for the Steam release, they weren't particularly good.

* Bugs still not fixed to this day (most likely will still be a thing on both platforms)

* No bundle for Epic while Steam will release with one

* Epic achievements haven't been updated to the new system.

Do not waste your precious time, play videogames unlike our Epic employee who is only here to hate towards Valve and waste his time defending a billion dollar company, because that's all he does day in... day out.

I personally, ran into no issues at all when I went through them. Started at KH1 and ran through all the way to the end. CoM, BBS etc. Everything, and not one crash.

No, I really dont care. I bought these games when they released on Epic, and you can even find me posting back then at that time, that once they release on Steam, I will get them here too.

I simply dont care what platform a game is on. If I want to play a game bad enough, I will. Its just that simple. Short of piracy. I dont goto this level, because im an Adult, and I can pay for things.

I am also against exclusivity, so I fully endorse what SE is doing, as I would have had this game 3 years sooner on Steam, had they NOT had an exclusive deal.

I was even going to get them on Switch, till I found out they are Streaming games, which I will have no part of.

They are both greedy corporations... This is what I mean when I say they are the same. Their end goal, is to make money. They dont care about the little guys in the grand scheme of things, so EGS and Steam, are identical.

In all honestly, I almost prefer EGS over Steam, because at least there, I dont have to deal with forums.

I still, have yet to see any real reason people dont like EGS anyways. Its always one of 2 reasons. Which as a consumer, kinda make no sense.

1) Owned by Tencent. So people dont want to support China. I get it, but I dont care. I am not about to deprive myself of something, simply because "Tencent".

2) They take a bigger cut from developers than Steam. Okay... Do you work for said company? Then why do you care what the cut is... You are here to play games right?

So, unless someone can come up with a valid provable reason, I simply wont accept the "EGS bad cuz BRRRRRR".

The only thing you are correct about is Steam and EGS are here to make money the rest of your statement about Steam and EGS being identical is completely false. At least Valve didn't breach any contracts unlike Epic. Finally Tim Sweeney has said some Anti-consumer statements in the past on Twitter. The reason why I don't like Epic is their anti-consumer practices of offering exclusivity. And if you don't accept it then you are nothing but a EGS simp and a Epic fanboy.
