Thanks!
We know that if using controller, press L1+R1 and down or left/right for backflip / Left Roll / Right Roll.
I tried Shift+F+S
Shift = ready knife (L1)
F = Call Ashley (R1)
S = back move (in order to do a backflip?)
The easiest still is 'Do this using controller', I guess.
I also tried Delete+Page down.
Delete/Page down = rotate items in inventory (R1)
And I also tried Shift+F+Delete+Page down+S
Also not work. Or it could be that my PC can't take in more than 2-3 keys at once, and the tricks may need 5 or 6 keys to be pressed.
Haha, I'll pass for now.
If someone can do these tricks using keyboard, that someone is a hero.
There's a build linked at https://github.com/nipkownix/re4_tweaks/issues/158#issuecomment-1088311559 which should enable it by holding LMOUSE+RMOUSE while going over a jump, would appreciate hearing from anyone that tries it out!
The install instructions are here, install JoystickGremlin and Vjoy basically:
https://whitemagic.github.io/JoystickGremlin/overview/
then, remap whatever key you use to interact/pickup/examine, to the 1/A/X button on the Vjoy controller. It's pretty much as easy as re-maping keys in a game just with an extra step.
Also, had to do a one-time setup on steam settings the very first time VJoy connected for me, just make sure to remap something to B(or equivalent layout) as well, or use the Vjoy Feeder program to send it, after that, steam allows skipping of the rest of buttons.
but when it's all said and done, now my F key is recognized as both F and the 1/A/X button on a controller.
bout to go flip some jet skis, know its working cuz when moving the cabinet on the catwalk, it shows "X" rather than "F" :D
EDIT: Works like a charm, keep in mind it's not WASD, you gotta hold F and flick the mouse while in mid-air. did spins and backflips no prob.
