Game engine?
What game engine does RE4 use? I tried to find info about this but didn't come up with any answers. Does anyone here know? Or is it just some kind of in-house engine with no name?

The original Gamecube release and its subsequent PS2 and later Wii ports run on an internal, pre-MT Framework engine. To my knowledge Capcom has never publicly named this game engine. Some rumors suggest that God Hand, PN03, Haunting Ground, and Dead Rising Wii also use this same engine.

This version of RE4 (HD Edition) was supposedly ported to MT Framework. This was likely done for a number of reasons including internal consistency and maintaining a unified code base across projects, and/or phasing out an obsolete code base.
