To unlock the "ultimate game breaking weapon" you have to play it so many times that you'll grow bore before around half way trought.
"Ultimate game braking weapon" it's not the Chicago but the Uber Laser rifle, only obtainable after completing Pro, so before you can ♥♥♥♥♥ a bit with it you have to play 3 times in a row, and by the time you unlock it you leave it after the village.
For the records, i played the hell out of the old port only with the keyboard and a couple of times this new one, never got a console or a pad.
Edit: To unlock the Tipewriter you have to finish Separate Ways, ending the game once only give you the Inf. Rocket Launcher.
I prefer 5 inventory system were bonuses are carried over and have a meaning, not just to have fun. There's not much use in unlocking a weapon that you can only use in a new game+ of the same saved game.
And i'm ok with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons, as long i can use whenever i want after completing it regularly at least one time, that's it.
