XBOX360 controller not working

Hi,

So, my wireless XBOX360 controller works fine in steam big picture, it also works fine in all other games I've tried, it even works when I get the "press any button" before main menu. After that though, nothing happens, I can't control the menu, and in game the controller does nothing.

Any ideas?

Tried it, didn't work, problem not solved.

Might be due to my quite long daisy chain of usb-hubs, I'll try to shorten the chain and test if it works tomorrow.

For the purpose of troubleshooting, it's best if you plug it directly, eve if you can't have it stay that way later. I understand that not all games work properly with the wireless Xbox 360 controller.

Tried a direct connection today, no effect. Ah well, I'll just play with mouse+keyboard instead, since it's only one game having issues.

Solved it! It was of course... something stupid I missed. I had a reciver for a third controller that I never use plugged in. This controller was identified as controller 1 so key mapping in input.ini related to this controller and not the xbox controller I was trying to use.
