Why does the Novistador cave require 400 rocket launchers on Pro?

A flash grenade and a 14 shot Striker isn't enough to get me out of ROOM WITH SWITCH NUMBER 1. How am I supposed to do this?

I used the same method as Leonidas did in 300. :-P

1. Run as fast as you can into any small tunnel (where you find the switches).
2. Use the rifle (if you have any in your inventory).
3. Wait for them to get in. Since they cannot fly in the entrance take advantage of that and shoot to their heads. Once down keep shooting.

Its been some time since i last played this but i think when you knock down a flying novistador(use a shotgun) it dies instantly as opposed to when it is on the ground(can't say for sure though,If you try it then please post the result).
My advice would be to get to the entrance of the cave(stand a little back so that you can deal with the ones that come at a height) as soon as you press the button and use it as a choke point rather than letting 2 or 3 of them enter into the cave. Once you get a couple of them down use your pistol or the rifle to kill them.You can try knifing but it may be dangerous with 2 or more around.

I ended up beating the game today on Pro.

When I beat this part I killed the ones by the initial entrance. Then I made it to the first cave with a switch. Before hitting the switch I killed everyone. THen I hit the switch, killed a couple more.

Then I went to the next switch cave. Killed them from the cover of the cave again. Hit the switch killed a couple more. Then made it to the smashing pillars where I was safe.
