I just got the game and I got far but my game restarted because I cant find a save point

Typewriters are save points. The game does not auto save. It only has a temporary checkpoint at each loadzone that disappears when you restart. Typewriters are commonly located next to mechants but there's a handful you will run across at the beginning.

I believe if you never played a Resident Evil before, that might not be so obvious... It might look just like part of the environment.

Yes but it prompt "SAVE GAME" when you approach one, and it's almost impossible that he missed every typewriter so far he went.

I think it's very possible. You only meet your first merchant after finding Luis and that for a newcomer, can be an hour or so into the game. The typewriter is never in the middle of the way. It's always to the side and while not easily missed, it's not hard to imagine someone thinking it's just part of the scenary.

There's three typewriters before the first merchant.
