Digital Art Book

So, I didn't pre-order because I'm holding off until the game is pacthed up and there's a price drop (whichever comes first). I'm really curious to know what the digital artbook is like though. Is it just stuff you can find on the internet or are there new exclusive pieces just for this release?

I think they just used a previous artbook and took the RE4 section of it. Don't remember which one it was though.

Most of the artbook is fluff, but near the end there are some really great concept paintings and various revisions of character designs, which are extremely cool.

Read the sticky FAQ, it's a digital file. Should be in your game folders

It's a PDF file in your game directory. I'm a bit disappointed with their decision to put it as a PDF as it seems to be incredibly slow to view due to the way most PDF file viewers handle the high resolution images. (An image extractor could be useful in this though).

There are some pretty neat concept images in the book. If you love RE 4, I'd say it'd be worth it. Some early concepts and versions of characters in there as Sugoi said.

Yes, the game was gifted to me as a pre-order. I'm not actually sure if the book etc only comes with pre-orders.

well, it was announced that the soundtrack and the art book will be included in the pre order. but since the game is out, i even dont see this pic anymore about the bonus stuff.

and as stated, pretty much more then 3/4 of the book are practically the story of the game. the rest then are about the characters you see in the game and concept arts.
