Help with Monster Salazar " the stone statue"

After I finish crossing the bridge, cut the lock off the door, and run across the other bridge and jump to the ledge, I can't get myself up for some reason. I'm smashing the 'X" button but it has not worked for like 10 tries... Any help on this problem, anybody..... Thanks in advanced. Oh and I have tried the Use button, C button, fire button, RMB, nothing works. Help me I'm falling.

try to reduse your monitor resolution and try again maybe your pc is slow

I'd love to see some help he too. I can do everything else, I did this on GameCube a few weeks ago... ubt for some reason smashing X isn't helping. I've tried switching to keyboard since I thought I could hammer keys faster but nope, I still die.

The QTEs are notably harder if you're playing at 60fps. Try reducing it to 30 if you really can't jam the button fast enough.

@Bringing the Puns........ I did make it after trying over 15 times, I used my "action key" or "use key" for the pull up on the ledge. My "action key" is binded to my "middle mouse button" and it worked for me. But when ever it shows to press the "X" button it looks to be the same. Like running across the bridge I can smash the X button and run real fast or I can use the Middle mouse button.
I now am at the end of the game fighting "Saddler" and trying to excape on the Jet-Skies.
Hope you get things figured out.
Oh and I am using a "Keyboard and Mouse".

Guys, it's not a bug! If you spam "X", you will die because after that part you have to jump and they are other buttons, not the same of running. So you have to be fast to do it. It always happened to me and I was trying for more than 5 times sometimes

The 'Press X to climb' QTEs are actually very difficult. I failed both the mine cart one and statue run due to not pressing X hard enough.
The next time I got to that scenario I slammed on X as hard as possible and passed the quick time event.

I would suggest turning the frames down to 30 FPS as some of the QTEs haven't been adjusted to the new framerates.
I would assume that is just an oversight and will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

I don't know if it's an actual impact, but it worked the first time I tried it after hearing about it:

Move your mouse forward while mashing the button. For whatever reason, it's supposedly required to pass those sections.

Never paid attention for the date 😮 well atleast if somebody has this problem nowadays, it could be useful to them
