How the hell do you kill a chainsaw guy?

Bullets work really well.

If you shot a few birds and explored the houses, you should have at least one grenade (there's one next to the shotgun regardless).

Get the ganados together, lob a grenade to clear the crowd, and then focus on Salvador (chainsaw guy)

Use the shotgun to get him on the ground, and while he's down either get some free knife hits in or use the pistol to deliver some uninterrupted headshots.

Make good use of your melee! Headshots+Kicks will save you so much ammo if you master them. Just be careful with Salvador, its tough to stagger him.

It's really easy. Shoot him in the head a couple of times and then slash away at him when he's down.

uhh if youre in the beginning of the game still, you should primarily use your shotgun in close range, thats the fastest method if youre a beginner

But really if you run at him and quickly back up he'll swing, and during his swing any headshot will instantly stagger him setting him up for an easy kick. Knife him about 3 to 4 times when he's on the ground and repeat.

Sure they do. Just make sure you're holding run as you're inching forward it'll cause him to swing.

If theres one thing you should try and do its to get the bugger on his own, having some one sneak up on u, grab u, get away form them just to have a chainsaw meet your face is not amusing....luckily it hasn't happened to me yet, but its always a possiblity, the power of team work, every protaganists worse nightmare when done right (or wrong if they happen to be on YOUR team)
