PS2 like controller binding

Hi, I am very used to playing RE4 back in the PS2. In the PS2 we have the left joystick of the gamepad doing all the movements while the right one does only camera. In here I am stuck with using the left one only for movements and right one for aiming the weapon. Which to me really breaks my experience with the game since I have to let go of the right joystick and hit a button to shoot. It is really annoying. In the key binding section it only allows me to bind movement and camera seperately. Would very much appreciate it if the gun aimming can be done with the movement joystick.

Is issue only happening to me or does it happen to everyone? If it's only me, any ideas what to change?

What controller preset are you using? I'm using A and the left stick on my 360 controller is for both movement and aiming.

I'm using a Rapoo V30. It registers in the game as MLK something. I don't have any mentions of presets. It is because the support for my controller is not there?

I would venture to guess that you either selected type 2 or Type 3 controls, the game did it for you, or the game doesn't recognize the controller for some reason. Like ReFracture, I'm using a 360 controller with type a settings. Go to "Help and Options" and select "Controls" and make sure "Type 1" is selected. If it is, then I'm not sure what the problem is

There isn't a control type option for my controller, the only option I could choose is the key bindings and nothing else

Same problem here , I want movement and aiming with the left stick .
I'm using ps 2 controller , anyone know what to change in ini file ?
