Does Mercenaries have leaderboards?

The HD rerelease of RE4 for 360 and PS3 was almost PERFECT, but it didn't have leaderboard scoring for the Mercenaries mode. Does this version fix that?

I can't say for sure, as I haven't beaten the game yet.

I do remember hearing they do have leaderboards now, but I can't say whether that's true or not.

Yeah I was really hoping leaderboards on the Mercenaries. My personal best is 227,000 with Krauser.

The actual mode that makes sense to have a leaderboard doesn't....

It wouldnt matter if there was a leaderboard for mercenaries, the top places would be the people who hack it up to 999,999 and above.

sadly yes. it's like that one bad kid in class that results in everyone having to stay after school. maybe Capcom was thinking the exact same thing you are and aren't willing to constantly monitor leaderboards for fake scores anymore.

i live stream most of the games i play, so i guess that's an option most people could take if they wanted to show their legit scores. a video is worth a thousand screenshots.

So obvious I forgot about it.

Yea I had a strong feeling before it was released that they weren't going to have mercenaries leaderboards, but I thought the same thing. If someone wants to prove that they are the best, all they have to do is record it with fraps, ect., and put it on youtube.

very true, it happened with RE5, the top 6 or so people had the same preposterous score of over 2 BILLION (yes, you read that right) in mercenaries, so anyone who had actual skill in the game had to record their performance and submit it on youtube. It would be nice if the leaderboards could tell the difference between genuine results and the hacked ones from douchebags, but there it is, and the videos are far more entertaining anyway.

I mean, I'd just use a friends leaderboard, but this is certainly a fair point.

top 10 scores will be: 999999, lol, best thing is to upload your scores to youtube or any other site, there was a jpn site running a leaderboard for mercs, ofc, video proof was needed, idk if its still up

I was completely surprised that there was no leaderboards for a mode that was made for breaking records. But again, that would've been a reason for this version of RE4 to deserve to be called "Ultimate".
