So, here's how to quit

If you were like me, you are likely puzzled how to get back to the main menu to quit. Well, it's simple, but the option is a bit deceptively labeled: You want to go to "Retry or Load" and select 'Game Reset'; that will send you back to the Main Menu.

I want to quit the game as well, has anyone found a solution? this is confusing and dont want to reset my game losing all my progress.

You won't lose your progress when you hit "Game Reset', trust me. So long as you saved, you can load your progress back up. Game Reset just takes you back to the main menu; Capcom just chose a stupid name to use for 'Quit'.

I've played prior Resident Evil games (RE4 included), but never on the PC.

Think in terms of pushing a reset button on a console. That's why it's like that.
