Who's gonna top the Mercenaries leaderboards?

I've seen some really strong players on Youtube that managed to get all the kills or whatever in Mercenaries. I wonder if this version of Mercs will use the Gamecube or PS2 version. Also, I don't think those top players are on Steam, so who's gonna be the next Mercenaries superstar?

Hunk is only good on Village, otherwise the top players are all Weskers.

Well since the game is going to have native mouse support that is not emulating a joystick like the old mouse aim 2.0 mod. Who knows what will happen? It's most likely going to give players unprecedented control compared to the controller, and even rivaling the wii remote. Wesker still might hold the top spot, but who knows? Things might be a lot different now that we have "real" mouse support with sensitivity and acceleration settings for the first time.

I can go far as saying that if the new mouse support is really as good as it sounds. People will be crushing the console records in no time.

The OP wasn't really asking about the best character as far as I can tell.

Check out this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWUzfjpRldE Was (don't know if he still is) the record holder for castle on gamecube. All of his videos are RE4 related. I think he still plays. I hope he gets this game, he is amazing.

Ahh, RE4... you could literally memorize the spawns and aim there before the enemies even appeared.
