Otherwise no there's not really any mods that are required (except for maybe the controller one) unless you're really hardcore on the graphics.

If I receive crashes I'll check out the 4GB fix. Otherwise if there aren't that many other "must have mods" perhaps the HD mod will be of interest. Thanks again.
EDIT: Oh, and one more thing... For Skyrim there are specific modding tools which let you install mods easy and safely, just rather than manually putting files in the corrects folders. How's the modding for RE4? Are there any tools I should be working with?
I don't use it personally so I don't have any opinions on it, but it seems pretty much easy to use.
