Need help with RE4_Tweaks mod.

I downloaded the 1.9.1 version of the mod from GitHub, placed the "re4_tweaks" folder into Bin32, as well as "dinput8.dll" and "dinput8.ini".

When I launched the game, the mod asked if I wanted to download the 4GB patch, which I did. When the game ran again, it crashed after barely reaching the Capcom logo.
Currently using v1.1.0. I am not using the HD Project.

I've tried using RE4_Tweaks version 1.7.7.6, 1.8, 1.9 and 1.9.1 on RE4 1.0.6 and all versions crashed my game. I've tried RE4_Tweaks 1.9.1 with version 1.1.0 of the game, which also crashes.

I tried doing that but I still had the same issue. You'd think a mod with only one folder and two files would be easy to install.

It is. Majority of people do not experience any issues. I can guarantee the problem is with your system, not the mod.

Why did you downgrade to 1.0.6?

Raz0r's trainer only worked on that version. I just never changed it back the last time I finished the game. I don't think the problem is my system though, but I could be and probably am wrong. I'm using 1.1.0 now, though.

That worked. I'm so embarrassed that I was getting salty over this mod and it was that simple of a workaround.
Edit: It worked the first time, but then it crashed after I reached the main menu and now I can't get it to work again.

Razor's trailer doesn't work with 1.1.0 and probably won't work on 1.0.6 with re4_tweaks as well. Delete is as it is completely obsolete, is prone to crashing and isn't supported anymore. RE4_tweaks has its own build-in trainer.

I already deleted Raz0r's trainer, I did so after the last time I beat the game. That's on me, I should've been more clear. Currently I am on 1.1.0 and the only thing I have installed is RE4_Tweaks 1.9.1

I'm afraid your only option is uninstalling the game, deleteing any leftover folders and reinstalling the game with re4_tweaks again. Pretty sure razor's trainer left some leftovers that crash your game.

I'm afraid your only option is uninstalling the game, deleteing any leftover folders and reinstalling the game with re4_tweaks again. Pretty sure razor's trainer left some leftovers that crash your game.

I did a completely fresh install and the only thing I've put into the files is what's in RE4_Tweaks. I added the 4gb patch when prompted, and it still crashes as soon as the Capcom logo appears on screen.

You can also try to launch game via dxvk (last version 2.3.1 not 2.2 which in twicker) or disable it if already use.

I installed game, then hd project, while installation of hd project was updated tweaker to last version. After all I downloaded last version of dxvk from GitHub.

If nothing helps I would recommend to try dgVoodoo 2 cause it very helpful for me with old games working via dx9 or later. It makes game works via dx11 or dx12 instead of dx9 with make sense on modern cpu!
