Is integrated graphics not good enough for this game?
I have a modern work laptop with only integrated graphics, and I bought Resi 4 hoping that I'd be able to run it on my laptop; it runs other games from the era such as Dawn of War: Dark Crusade without issue. However, I only get 10 fps at 1080p. Is a proper GPU, even a weak one, needed to run this game?

I originally played this on GameCube and still want to replay it, since my gaming PC can't quite run the remake. Just would be nice to play it on my work laptop.

Define "modern work laptop"? (CPU, RAM)
If you re running on Intel UHD series, likely not. A recent Iris Xe, or AMD APU, should work.
You could try to reduce resolution to something like 720p

Nope, it's just an Intel UHD. That's fine, I'll just play it when I get home to my proper gaming PC. While Prey is my favourite horror game of all time, Resi 4 (the original) is a close second.

i am having problems exactly when i start a new game. Leon and other stuff in the game are completely black like shadows. there is no lag in the playing. i don't understand the reason!
