HELP ME PLEASE!!! Resident Evil 4 (2005) not launching Windows 11

When you press play, no game will appear for you to play, and the play button will return for you to press again.

No sound, no screen, nothing happens.

I bet is due to that DRM, because many people have the same problem, including me who bought it three days ago. If eopoe are complaning all about it... It should be it

Please don't spread false information, this game doesn't has DRM.

This problem can be fixed by installing re4 tweaks.

That's why i'm saying "I bet" and "It should" because i wasn't totally sure of it. It was just an oppinion, so whatever is said to me it's kind of hate, just for the sake I supossed wrong. Things would be different if I typed "I'm sure".

I play this game since February 2023l4 and no problem lunching the game. So it's not due to erm, try and check your video card, update all drivers...

You are one of the lucky ones. Ive seen reports that this game, no matter whats done doesnt run for people.

I can pretty much or run Prey, Fallout New Vegas, Dishonored and Borderlands 2 too, and i've even checked RE4's requirements vs my PC too, and they're good. Heck, i've even installed re4_tweaks and i'm currently downloading the HD project that's heavy as hell.

I really hope it works. Because this game plus Terraria are the only ones I can't run :(

I am in the same boat. I can run every game. Just not this or the remakes. I can run other capcom games as well.

I am in the same boat. I can run every game. Just not this or the remakes. I can run other capcom games as well.

WE really have a problem then... I wanted to buy RE6 instead of RE4 an it seems like it could have been a better option.

And I have some news to you:I installed RE4 HD Project and it doesnt work neither. Even pirated RE4 doesn't work. At this pont of life i'm wondering why...

It's an old game.

A lot of old games aren't working anymore for a multitude of reasons on modern systems.

Did you apply the 4GB patch to your BH4.exe when you installed RE4_Tweaks btw? Could be it since some people tend to forget this procedure.

4GB patch, re4_tweaks, HD project, errased my antivirus, installed the 1.0.2 beta, used GeDoSaTo, CRU too, changed screen settings, put the game in High Performance, modified 3D settings on my Nvidia panel, reinstalled the game, downloaded it pirated too... There's no exit, huh?

Yeah, I guess so. Maybe i'll just ask for a money return, and buy it when I have or a better PC or a lot of time to lose.
