There is a randomizer on moddb that completely changes what enemies spawn, what traders give, what items drop, etc. Makes for a unique playthrough

These make the game look and feel better.

I like to keep mods limited to bugfixes/QoL and texture overhauls.

Trust me, install ‘RE4Tweaks’ and the HD texture project and you’ll be playing the best version ever of OG RE4.

(Texture project comes with RE4 Tweaks but not the latest version - you can get that on Nexus).

Just be warned that HD texture project is hosted and mirrored on Mega and MediaFire - Mega limits non-members and MediaFire is pop-up central. You’ve 30+GB to download from either one so be prepared, bud.

No reason to use either when you can just use a orrent to get the files. You can find a magnet link on their website.

World S. It's not in development anymore, but there's still a few hours of content there, and it's pretty challenging on Pro. On Pro it's actually outright unfair at some parts, but that's just how it is. Has a built-in trainer you can use in case you get stuck somehow and don't want to reload an older save to try again.

Go to the RE4HD website and copy the magnet link. Download with qBit. Use a VPN while downloading if you're concerned about security for some reason. While using qBit to download you'll connect P2P to other people's PCs and you can see their IP while they can see yours. Doesn't matter since 99% of people are on dynamic IPs, but again, if it bothers you use a VPN.
