Hello friend, first install this stuff:
- Install the directx 9.0 offline version.
- Install the steamworks redistributables from steam, they are c++ libraries necessary for the game and programs.
- reinstall the game.
- Now depending on your hardware and operating system you can use the tweaks tool, I'll give you the download link.
Installation
Download the lastest release from here: https://github.com/nipkownix/re4_tweaks/releases
Extract dinput8.dll and dinput8.ini to Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 4\Bin32.
Options can be configured either by manually editing dinput8.ini, or by pressing F1 to bring up the in-game configuration menu.
but what if the tweaks tool doesn't work either? I finished the game then tried to install a dub mod to change my experience a bit, but the mods don't seem to work together and I keep getting this visual c++ runtime library error
