(also some neat options for making the game use the original NTSC difficulty being added there too, might interest people who think UHD is too easy right now :P)
Those are available on the github already if anyone wants to help try testing them (re4_tweaks doesn't really have any dedicated testers, so anyone trying them would be appreciated)
You can find builds at https://github.com/nipkownix/re4_tweaks/actions (click the top-most commit, then the release build can be found listed under "artifacts")
Would welcome hearing about any issues with them on the github too!
That's amazing! Not only has real-time weapon swap been something I've longed for since the beginning, but I was also just thinking that it would be interesting to have the option to disallow both dodge command inputs like in the original GCN -- do you happen to know if this option exists? (in other versions of the game, you can spam all four dodge input commands and it will succeed, but in the original GCN it would fail if you put in the wrong one first, so effectively you couldn't spam)
Haven't seen anything that specifically added that, but maybe the NTSC difficulty changes might have changed how the QTE stuff works? If you'd like to check then the builds I linked should have the NTSC difficulty included (need to enable EnableNTSCMode in the INI first)
Otherwise you could try asking the dev who worked on the difficulty changes about it, they'd probably be interested in making it like the original - https://github.com/nipkownix/re4_tweaks/pull/369 is the thread where they've been working on changing things.
And thank you a lot for the work you put into re4_tweaks, it made the experience so much better. I also appreciate that you're active on Steam, since I'm unable to post on GitHub. Is there any way to donate to your project?
