As the matter of fact. Mods can't literally remove the whole QTE buttons? It's already in the game.
The QTEs are broken (some sequences more than others, it appears) when running at 60 FPS; it's a known issue.
To pass these QTE sections, try running the game at 30 FPS, and then switch back to 60 FPS when you've cleared the section and saved your game.
