But in a nutshell I would try Ebay. Its not like this version was rare or something.
However....wouldn't it make more sense to upgrade your PC instead of looking up older versions of some games?
There will always be the point in time, where there is no older version of a desired game...
The version i played was given to me by a schoolmate that i lost contact and he gave me the game in a file (dont rememver if it was an ISO or winrar/zip file).
so i was hopping that i could find a site that had the old version for sale, like GOG who have in the past put old games for sale while fixing compatibility issues common on those same old games.
An exemple being the game "mistery of the druids" Where they made the game playable on modern pcs. But they dont sell capcom games apperantly.....
i have found the game on some sites but they were "those" kind of sites... and im extremely paranoid when it comes to downloading and installing from them.....
its a pity that the new version does not allow to lower settings in a way that lets me play above 10 fps........
its probably gonna take a while before i am able to upgrade some aspect of my pc but its problaby the only way im gonna have a chance to play this again....
thx anyway, bruv. take care
4 is just very badly optimized, while 5 and 6 weirdly run much better.
i have those games too but RE5 bores me because i already replayit many times (passed game on hardest dificulty, unlocked all mercenaries, infinite ammo for all weapons and all figurines....outside of my job i have no live) and RE6 does not run well on my pc because my pc=potato.
nevermind... watched an old game review of RE4 and the nostalgia factor kicked hard.
maybe someday il be able to upgrade my pc to run this game, maybe it il be worth it for the mouse support...
thx anyway bros
I was playing the RE4 non-hd version (no mouse support) in laptop but more interesting to combine with HD patch, making it more good and FPS locks on 30 completely.
Its a Capcom porting issue, even if this version is still better to actually play nowadays
