Motion Blur, graphic tweaks, etc.

I bought this game a long time ago (on Steam), but never really played it that much. I played the original on GameCube ages ago.

With RE2 around the corner I decided to revisit the old RE games. I finished RE HD Remaster already this week (twice), so I decided to give this a try.

I normally like motion blur, Im not one of those that instantly turns it off on all games, but in this game theres something about it that it just bothers me (Im pretty sure it will make me nauseous if I play it for a while). So, I turned it off and it feels much better.

Are there any mods or tweaks for this game so it looks and/or feels better with modern hardware? I would like to have motion blur, but not like this (its like it blurs everyhing).

I have a 144hz monitor. I played REHD and it felt great. Maybe its because that one didnt have motion blur or maybe its something else, but RE4, even though I have it set up to 60fps (and it never dips) it just feels kind of slow/sluggish.

Yeah the motion blur in this game is not a real motion blur. This is just a ghosting effect that really doesn't do much to fill the gaps.
