Anyone tell me where they spawn, how many, and how to trigger them if avoidable? I never got the first one at the village because I stayed out of the house. Now heading back to the village.

where are you now exacly? I know that the chainguy coming at very beginning till bell coming and everyone go to chirch, another dude is after this house encounter with "sheriff", then those two sisters on "two paths", then this double chainsaw enemies on watervillage (mercenaries), forgive me if I forgot something, didnt played this game ago.

In a normal playthrough, you'll see the first chainsaw at the village. and you might see the twin sisters in an area next after 2-1 when you flip the levers. And later in the game around 4-3 you'll encounter another chainsaw guy, but this time 2. Then you'll encounter another 1 after that section. Other than those, there are no more chainsaws in the game.

you can avoid 2 of the 3 Dr Salvadors in the mine cart part. just shoot them down early with sniper or magnum / at the section where youre on hold, shoot the lever early enough

-First one, in the first village siege, triggered by entering the house where the shotgun is.
-Two Bella Sisters depending on the path you choose after the cabin siege with Luis (don't choose El Gigante's path)

Any other Chainsaw Ganados are really hard to miss, unless you avoid them on purpose or by messing with glitches.
